about me

There may be many reasons why you are considering coming to therapy and whatever they may be I offer a  compassionate, confidential and supportive space where you can safely consider areas of your life that may be causing you some difficulty or distress or that you simply have some curiosity about exploring.

I am fully accredited with UKCP and hold an MA in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapeutic Practice and a Diploma in Core Process Psychotherapy.  I am qualified in Internal Family Systems (Level 2) and have some additional training in Somatic Experiencing (with Peter Levine) and Compassionate Inquiry (with Gabor Matè).

I am currently a trainee Supervisor working towards a Diploma in Contemplative Supervision at Karuna Dartmoor.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Drama & Theatre, an MSc in Business and a MA in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute.  I have spent many years working both in the arts and commercial industry and have a lived understanding of the pressures and issues that modern working life can throw at us.  I am also a mother to four children.

mindfulness based psychotherapy

Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy works with the body, mind and awareness to inquire into, at a deep level, what experiences and patterns may have led you to where you are right now.  By looking gently yet closely at your history you can begin a journey back to yourself and the people and world around you.

If you are struggling with a particular issue, such as anxiety, alienation, perfectionism, addictive processes or impulsive behaviour, approaching and accepting your unique experience and ways of being with compassion and mindfulness can lead to profound self-realisation, integration and healing.

Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy can help you find a path through the tangled places we all sometimes find ourselves in.
